Lights last glow for the day at Montana's beautiful Seely Lake.

This sunset was unfortunately enhanced by wildfire smoke. May we have clearer skies this summer.

Your views, comments, faves and support are sincerely appreciated!

Enjoy a wonderful Sunday!

Greenan shore is a favorite spot of mine for taking photos, as you may have gathered, but also for large flocks of seabirds and fellow photog Daryll Buchanan who said hello tonight.

Thank you all very much for your visit.

It is with a heavy heart I have to announce Northern Shore and some other of my regions are at risk of closure. Northern Shore is one of my newer regions and one that is close to my heart. I took inspiration from The Swedish coast which is also my home in rl. I feel it is one of my most unique regions and something I really want to continue to develop and share with you. The region is currently unsustainable and I am unable to keep it running without more tenants. My last resort is to call for your support. Please do take a look at my available rentals and share with any of your friends who might also enjoy. HERE

I would like to also say a heartfelt thank you to all of you who have supported me in the past and to those who continue to do so. Creating these region is my passion and I would love to continue sharing them with you all.

All regions that cover their costs will continue to remain open and if at any time I can no longer continue all tenants will be notified and refunded.

I never expected to get a train powered by a pair of SD40-2s on my first trip to the north shore of Lake Superior in 2019. Here, eastbound ballast train 2GPS-29 hugs the shoreline near Kama Lookout in Ontario.

The Aurora Borealis casts its spell across the Norwegian shoreline.

Just standing here with the remote shutter release staring up into the night sky was a surreal experience. I certainly set off here in the hope I would see the Northern Lights, but the reality is quite mind-blowing. We went on to see a further 3 displays in the next few days which grew with intensity and vibrance, But nothing compares to seeing them for the first time as I did on this night just North West of Tromso, in the Arctic Circle.

Long Beach, MS. This was the first and most beautiful thing I saw during a quick trip to the beach for sunset.

Flickr geotagging got it right on my second try, so guess it was me.

I'd been photographing the seaward view as you do only to turn round and see the light and snow slicing across the hills.

The coastline at Portballintrae, County Antrim, Northern Ireland looking out along Runkerry beach to Runkerry Head.

Portballintrae (from Irish: Port Bhaile an Trá, meaning "port of the beach settlement") is a small seaside village in County Antrim, Northern Ireland. It is four miles east of Portrush and two miles west of the Giant's Causeway.

Runkerry Strand beach, also known as Bushfoot Strand and Blackrock Strand, is 1.2 km long with a general north east/south west shoreline except at the north east end where it swings north to Runkerry Head. The river Bush enters the bay at the south west corner. the beach is backed by sand dunes.
